
This summit will bring together Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), service providers, regional centers, Department of Developmental Services, policymakers, and other stakeholders to explore strategies for strengthening the DSP workforce, identify system level supports to promote recruitment and retention within the DSP workforce, and develop an overall approach to centering and elevating the role of the DSP in workforce development efforts throughout the state.
